MyHomeCareSalesCoach.com is designed to be easy to learn and can be used immediately. Our customers find that using MyHomeCareSalesCoach.com is similar to using other Web sites - extremely intuitive and user friendly. If you know how to use the Web, you will know how to use MyHomeCareSalesCoach.com.
Is training available if I need it?
While training is not required, we offer free email and phone support for members of the myhomecaresalescoach.com and Playmaker and PlayMakerPRO service. PlayMakerPRO volume accounts (15+ members) are offered one free webinar training session. The sessions run less than one hour and cover typical usage by a user and administrator. The sessions are held through the Internet, conveniently allowing you to participate right from your office.
What involvement is required from my company's IT department?
None. MyHomeCareSalesCoach.com and Playmaker applications are accessed through the Internet via a Web browser and require no modifications or upgrades to your existing environment. All you need is Microsoft Internet Explorer (version 5.5 or higher) or Firefox, which is our suggested browser, and you are ready to use our products. Because there is no hardware, software, or network equipment to purchase, and the application is accessed through a standard Web browser, your IT department will not need to implement or maintain this service.
What platforms do I need to have in order to run MyHomeCareSalesCoach.com?
Since MyHomeCareSalesCoach.com hosts the application, all you need is a computer or an alternative device that can run a Web browser. It doesn't matter what type of hardware or operating system you're running.
Can I import my existing data into MyHomeCareSalesCoach.com?
MyHomeCareSalesCoach.com does not support this. It is however something currently in development. PlayMakerPRO customers have the one time ability to work out our development team to do a mass import.
Can I add custom fields in Playmaker?
This feature is not supported in the non-PRO version.

Yes. Currently we have many clients using the iPhone. The only feature currently unsupported through the iPhone is custom flash charts due to the iPhone limitations.

PlaymakerPro can import contacts from a template file CSV (comma separated value).
Is it possible to merge an existing user's data into another user's account?
Technically this is possible, however, due to the complexity and time involved, this service is not included for free. The cost is $85.00 per user account merge. These requests will be completed within 48-72 hours.

How do I get my current data into PlayMaker?
Identify Your Data SourcesStart by listing the various data sources that you're thinking about migrating into PlayMaker. For example you might have information in a legacy CRM application, homegrown databases, excel spreadsheets, or in individual contact managers. It's important to spell out exactly what you hope to migrate, what format it's in, and how clean it is.
Data Migration StrategiesOnce you understand the data you're working with you'll want to think carefully about the migration strategy you want to take. Using PlayMaker for the first time is like moving into a new home. You could bring everything in your old home or you could start fresh, leaving your old information behind. You could also take a hybrid approach where you look through your belongings and determine what to keep and what to leave behind.
Each approach has its merits and will depend on your particular situation. The key is to keep your new home as clean as possible and only move what is absolutely necessary. Discuss with your team, how valuable is that information? Will your end users really benefit from the data or would it clutter the new system? Would it be alright to archive it elsewhere?
Exporting Data from Your Legacy SystemMany customers need help getting data out of their legacy system, the strategy for which is going to vary depending on the application. Most of the time you will be able to export your contacts and accounts to an excel worksheet which can be cleaned and imported into PlayMaker. Note that you'll want to save your excel worksheet as a CSV file, also know as comma separated value or comma delimited. This makes it easy to import into PlayMaker using the standard import wizard. PlayMaker will seamlessly import data from other CRM solutions like Salesforce, Act!, SugarCRM and many others.
There are other situations where you have to purchase a third party tool such as Goldbox for Goldmine to unlock the relational information. There's ActNow for Act! users and OKERE which works with both Act! and Goldmine data. These services start at about $195.
Cleaning Your DataOnce you have your data in an excel spreadsheet, it's a good idea to scrub it before importing it into PlayMaker. First, going through and weed out dirty data, de-dupe people who may be in the system multiple times, and work on consistent naming conventions. If you find yourself really struggling with de-duplicating and cleansing your data, we suggest working with your IT Helpdesk.
With the PlayMaker's Import Wizard, customers can easily import and map information from an excel worksheet (CSV File) into contacts, accounts, referrals, ect. If you have information that's relational in nature, such as activities or opportunities, mapping data is a little bit more complex.
Import Your DataNow that your data files are in pristine condition and you've chosen your import tool, you'll want to begin the process of loading data into playmaker. Make sure you start with a small sample set to test. You don't want to import a large amount of data until you're sure what it will look like. Once you successfully imported a good test sample, you can then move forward and import the rest. If you get stuck at any point, turn to the online community or engage the PlayMaker Support Team.
